TECHNICAL/ SUPPORT STAFF

Chargeman
The successful candidate will be responsible to perform inspection, repair, maintenance and upgrading on equipment related to utilities such as electric substation and also troubleshooting high voltage (11KV) equipment and to ensure that all the electrical systems and installations in the University are complied with all relevant bylaws and regulations. The candidate will also be responsible to check and maintain all substations, generators, switchboards and distribution boards; monitor the incoming power supply, responding to electrical & mechanical breakdowns and performing troubleshooting and as and when necessary. The candidate is expected to manage and supervise technicians, wiremen, vendors and contractors.
Candidate:
- Should possess a SPM/SPVM or its equivalent.
- With Chargeman (B0) certificate are preferred.
- Must fulfill all HT chargeman duties as specified by Suruhanjaya Tenaga and the Electricity Supply Act 1990 (Act 447) and Energy Commission Act 2001.
BASED AT KUALA LUMPUR CAMPUS
Technician
- SPM or its equivalent
Manufacturing Technology
- Applicants who are knowledgeable in the field of welding technology.
Clerk
- SPM or its equivalent
- Computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Office
- Applicants with working experience is an advantage
Laboratory Assistant
- SPM/SPVM or its equivalent.
Computer Science
- Applicants with knowledge in computer hardware, networking and experience in troubleshooting are preferred.
Gardener
- Relevant experience in gardening / landscape work.
Based at Kuala Lumpur and Penang Campus
Bus Driver
- Possess E driving license
- Good driving skills & driving track record
Laboratory Assistant
- SPM/SPVM or its equivalent
Based at Penang Branch
Life Guard
- Must possess a valid Bronze Medallion Certificate
- Minimum qualification: PMR/SRP (or equivalent)
- Physically fit and able to perform rescue duties
- Good communication and observation skills
- Responsible, alert, and able to work in a team
